全国人大常委会近日表决通过了生物安全法。生物安全法明确，生物安全是国家安全的重要组成部分，维护生物安全应当贯彻总体国家安全观。

Lawmakers approved the Biosecurity Law at a regular legislative¹ session of the Standing² Committee of the National People's Congress. The law stipulates³ that biosecurity is a key component⁴ of national security and a holistic⁵ approach to national security should be adopted in safeguarding biosecurity.
