All of the judgments² made by the Supreme³ People's Court will continue to be publicized on its official website, except those concerning national secrets, trade secrets or personal privacy.

 

除涉及国家机密、商业机密以及个人隐私的信息外，最高人民法院做出的所有裁判文书都将在其官方网站上公布。

 

Judgments就是法院对案件做出的“判定和裁决”，法院“对某人作出判决”可以用pass judgment¹ on someone来表示，如：The court passed judgment on the accused.（法院对被告作出判决。）“维持原判”则是to affirm the original judgment。另外，judgment还可以表示“看法、判断、评价”等，如：Remember to be tactful when expressing a personal judgment.（记住表达个人看法要婉转。）

 

最高法此次网上晒文书是为了增加司法透明度（judicial⁴ transparency），保障人们的知情权（people's rights to be informed），并实行司法监督（judicial supervision⁵）。
