Jengatecture 叠叠乐式建筑

Jengatecture refers to building designs that consist of a series of stacked, offset¹ boxes. "Jengatecture" is a blend of "Jenga" and "architecture".

Jengatecture（叠叠乐式建筑）指含有一系列错落堆叠的方块的建筑设计。Jengatecture是Jenga（叠叠乐）和architecture（建筑风格）的混合词。

 

Jenga is a game where players begin with a tower of 54 stacked blocks and take turns removing a single block and placing it on top of the tower. The game ends when the increasingly taller and less stable tower collapses². The Jenga tower's mid-game resemblance to many of today's building designs inspired the term Jengatecture.

叠叠乐是一种游戏，玩家先用54块积木堆出一座塔，然后大家轮流抽出一块积木并将其放到塔顶。塔越来越高也越来越不稳固，塔一旦倒掉游戏就结束了。叠叠乐游戏进行过程中积木塔的形态与当今许多建筑设计极为相似，叠叠乐式建筑一词由此而来。
