situational insomnia 情境性失眠

Situational insomnia¹ refers to a temporary form of insomnia that occurs as a result of short-term factors present in a person's life, ranging from travel (sleeping in a strange bed) to changed life circumstances (e.g., job loss, divorce, death of a loved one, etc.). 

“情境性失眠”指的是生活中的短期因素导致的暂时性的失眠症，比如旅行途中（换了床睡觉），或者生活环境发生了改变（失去工作、离婚、至亲去世等等）。

 

"Doc, I've been up for three days. I need something for sleep -- I feel like a dead man walking," a 26-year-old accounting² student said as he was preparing for his CA exams. Though he's suffering the full effects of insomnia, his sleep difficulty is short-term, and should resolve quickly. 

“医生，我已经失眠三天了，我需要睡觉。我感觉自己就像行尸走肉”，一位26岁的会计专业学生说，当时他正在准备认证会计师考试。尽管他饱受失眠症困扰，但他的睡眠困难是短期的，很快就能解决。
