Seachanger refers to a person who retires to a seaside dwelling¹. 

海边退休族指的是退休后到海边居住的人。

 

Data from the 1996 national Census² reveals the fastest-growing parts of the nation are located on the coast, a few hours' drive from our capital cities. Meanwhile a study by Morgan and Banks found that 66 percent of males aged³ 45 and over were likely to become SeaChangers, leaving the city to escape the daily routine of city life. 

1996年的澳大利亚全国人口普查数据显示，越来越多的人去海滨城市定居，距离各州的首府只有几个小时车程。摩根银行的一项研究显示，45岁以上的男性中，有66%的人有可能成为海边退休族，远离城市生活的繁杂。
