'Tis said at Yellow Dragon Town

For years war has gone up and down.

Alas¹! at home wives watch the moon

Seen in the camp by men alone.

What would a young wife think in spring?

What dream last night did her man bring?

O, who with flags and drums could go

To take the town and beat the foe²?
