laborhood 上班街区

Laborhood refers to the neighborhood in which you work, if different from the neighborhood in which you live.

 

“上班街区”指的是你工作场所附近的街区，区别于你居所附近的街区。

 

For the office workers who commute¹ to work everyday, sometimes laborhood can be more familiar to them than their own neighbourhood. They could name the best restaurants or which supermarket offers the best price.

 

对于那些每日乘车上下班的上班族而言，有些人对“上班街区”比对自家街区还要熟悉。他们可以说出“上班街区”里最好的餐馆或哪家超市价格最实惠。
