UK's Queen Elizabeth II has had a model makeover, courtesy of Madame Tussauds in London.

It's to celebrate the week in which she becomes Britain's longest-reigning monarch2.

 

Madame Tussauds marketing3 manager Matthew Clarkson says seamstresses have worked for two months to add crystals to the Queen's gown.

 

"Madame Tussauds London are celebrating the record-breaking reign1 of Queen Elizabeth II with this beautiful gown, embossed with thousands and thousands of Swarowski crystals, 150 hours spent painstakingly4 attaching them to the diamond jubilee5 gown."

 

Madame Tussauds has re-modeled Queen ElizabethII 23 times during her reign.

 

The new-look is based on the waxwork6 created in 2012 to mark the Queen's 60 years on the throne.
