万达公布2016上映的新影片

The Wanda Cinema Line has recently released some 30 films that are going to be available in Chinese cinemas later this year.

 

万达院线近期公布了今年晚些时候将要上映的30部电影。

 

A total of nine films are Hollywood titles. Greg Foster is the CEO of IMAX Entertainment Corporation.

 

"As our network grows again very much with Wanda in tier 3 and 4 cities, the focus that we've made recently is complementing¹ our big Hollywood titles, like the Harry² Potters, etc. with local-language films. Then you'll see in July and August, in September, October and December, a big push for IMAX and local language businesses." 

 

The nine films include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, The Wolverine 3, Pacific Rim³ 2 and the Great Wall, an American-Chinese 3D science-fiction action film directed by Zhang Yimou. 

 

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows has already locked in the date of release in China on the 2nd of July.

 

Also, according to Zeng Maojun, president of Wanda Cinema Line, the country's biggest exhibitor, China will overtake the U.S. in total number of screens next year.
