我国高校对未返回外国留学生提供线上教学

针对因为国家暂时限制入境措施而无法返回中国的外国学生，中国教育部已要求各校提供线上教学。

The education authority has asked universities to conduct online teaching for foreign students who cannot return to China due to the country's temporary entry restriction¹ measures, a senior official with the Ministry² of Education said on Tuesday.

 

The ministry also has asked schools to provide academic support to students in their senior year and assist them in completing their graduation thesis through online guidance, said Liu Jin, director of the ministry's International Cooperation and Exchange Department.

 

Meanwhile, the ministry will assist foreign students who plan to suspend or quit school, or extend their study period, go through relevant procedures, she added.

 

China recently took temporary measures that restrict the entry of foreigners with valid³ Chinese visas or residence permits to stem the increasing risk of imported infection cases from abroad.
