on the make 唯利是图

“唯利是图”，汉语成语，意思是“只贪图利益，不顾及其他（seek nothing but profits；care only for money）”， 唯表示“只（only）”， 图是“图谋（plot; conspire）”，含贬义。与英文俗语“on the make”意思相近，表示“Seeking wealth, success, or an improved social status, often ruthlessly or in a self-serving manner”。
