A clever fish

There was a cat. Its name is Maomao. It liked to eat bread and fish.

One day, a fish said to it, "Maomao, do you want to eat bread? I can help you." Maomao was very happy. But then the fish said, "You are going to give me something, too." "What? Oh, that’s OK." said Maomao. "You'll give me a pen!" the fish said. So the cat gave the fish a pen. But then the fish said, "You are foolish¹! I don't want to give you anything!" Maomao was angry with the fish.
