在2004年北京时间25日凌晨进行的男子三米跳板决赛中，中国小将彭勃不负众望，在6组动作中全部发挥出色，以787.38的高分，领先第二名32分夺得金牌。这是中国队在跳水项目中夺得的第四枚金牌。
