奥运英语情景对话：初学游泳

游泳在2000年第27届奥运会设有自由泳、仰泳、蛙泳、蝶泳、个人混合泳、接力游泳等32项（男子16项、女子16项），是奥运会仅次于田径运动的第二个金牌大户。美国、澳大利亚是世界游泳强国，包揽历届奥运会大部分金牌。

R: I can swim only about the length. Then I swim down like a brick¹. Can you teach me some swimming skills?

R: 我只能游很近一段距离，然后就会像砖头一样沉下去，你能教我一些游泳技巧吗？

L: Well, your really need more practice, and a little extra instrution.

R: I pulled muscles sometimes, and it was very painful. How can I avoid it?

L: You just need some warm-up exercises before beginning swimming.

R: You are right. Swimming is a good work-out, it keeps me healthy and fit, and gives me fun, too.
