　　The Catalog of Goods Prohibited from Import (No. 3) which has been formulated2 according to the Regulation of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of the Import and Export of Goods, Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous3 Wastes and Their Disposal, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Preventing the Pollution of the Environment by Solid Wastes and the Decision of the State Council on Some Issues about Environmental Protection (GuoFa [1996] No.31) is hereby promulgated4 for implementation5 as of January 1, 2002.
