The age of fast pace is a period of time when people are experiencing a fast-paced life as well as a tight work schedule. People in this period are under a lot of pressure, always in heated competition, and never have a minute of rest.

 

急时代（the age of fast pace）是指生活、工作节奏过快的时代。压力大、竞争激烈、忙碌劳累是生活在这一时代的人的特点。

 

People often press the close button when they step into an elevator instead of waiting for it to close automatically¹, drivers behind you honk² their horns repeatedly if you are just a few seconds slow at the turn of a green light.

People will never experience the pleasure of being slow because they are always in a hurry. They are overworked mentally and physically³, without knowing where they are going.
