The newly established China Internet Investment Fund is expected to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within the internet sector¹ via a market approach, analysts² said on Monday.

中国互联网投资基金（China Internet Investment Fund）规划总规模1000亿元人民币，首期规模300亿元，资金已全部认缴到位。除中央财政引导资金（fund allocated³ from the central budget）外，出资方既包括中国移动、中国电信、中国联通、中信国安为代表的产业资本（industrial capital），也包括工商银行、中邮保险为代表的金融资本（financial capital）。
