Authorities are instructed to provide exam takers with standard stationery¹ and make fingerprint² identification instruments available in areas where the financial situation allows.

Standard stationery（统一文具）和fingerprint identification instrument（指纹识别仪）都是为了能够验明考生的身份，防止学生cheat（作弊）。除此之外，各地考场还将配备metal detector（金属探测器）以防止high-tech telecommunications equipment for cheating（用高科技通讯设备作弊）。

 

近几年，不少国家级考试都被曝出cheating scam（作弊）、identity theft（冒名顶替），以及exam leak（考试漏题）等新闻。
