Story of Life 生命的故事

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be
there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help figure out who you are or who you
want to become.
You never know who these people may be—your roommate, neighbor, coworker, long lost
friend, lover, or even a complete stranger who, when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very
moment they will affect your life in some profound way.
And sometimes things happen to you and at the time they may seem horrible, painful, and unfair
at first, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles, you would have never
realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart.
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck.
Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occur to test the
limits of your soul.
The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to
create who you are and who you become. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they
If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you
learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when you open your heart.
If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally4, not only because they love you, but
because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things.
Make every day count.
Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for
you may never be able to experience it again.
Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and actually listen.
Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high.
Hold your head up because you have every right to.
Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don’t believe in
yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you.
You can make of your life anything you wish.
Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.
Most importantly, if you love someone tell him or her, for you never know what tomorrow may
have in store.
And learn a lesson in life each day that you live.
That’s the story of life.
有时，某些人一闯入你的生活，你便会明白他们本就想这么做，有些是为了某种目的，
为了给你一个教训，或帮助你弄清楚你是谁或你想要成为什么样的人。
你永远也不知道这些人会是谁——是你的舍友、邻居、同事、久违的朋友、爱人，或者
只是一个完完全全的陌生人。当你与他们四目相对时，你便会知道他们将会以某种深远的方
式影响你的生活。
有时，发生在你身上的一些事情看上去那么可怕、痛苦或不公；但细想一下你就会意识
到，如果没有克服这些难题，你永远也不会意识到自己的潜能、力量、毅力和勇气有多大。
任何事情的发生都是有原因的，没有一件事是因巧合或幸运而偶然发生的。
疾病、伤痛、爱、真正伟大时刻的消逝和十足的蠢行——所有这一切的发生都是在考验
你的精神与灵魂的极限。
不管这考验是些什么，没有了这些微小的考验，生活将会像一条平坦笔直的阳光大道，
也许它安稳而舒适，但却了然无趣，不会通往任何地方。
你遇到的那些影响你的生活的人，你所经历的成功或失败的经验，都会帮助你塑造你自
己，看清自己。即使是不好的经历，你也能从中得到教训。事实上，这些教训是最严酷的，
但也可能是最重要的。
如果有人伤害了你，背叛了你，或让你心碎，原谅他们吧，因为他们让你懂得了什么是
信任，也让你明白了对那些你敞开心扉交往的人保持谨慎的重要性。
如果有人爱你，那么无条件地去爱他们吧，不仅仅因为他们爱你，也是因为在某种意义
上，他们教会了你如何去爱，如何敞开心扉、放眼万物。
让每一天都过得有意义吧。
珍惜生命中的每一刻，尽你所能从中汲取，因为你可能永远无法再有这种经历了。
跟那些你从没说过话的人互相交谈，并仔细聆听。
让自己坠入爱河吧，自由地冲破束缚，让你的眼界更加高远吧。
昂起你的头，因为你有充分的权利这样做。
相信自己，告诉自己你是个了不起的人，因为如果连你都不相信自己，别人又怎能相信
你？
你可以随心所欲地安排自己的生活。
去创造出自己的生活，然后走出去，去毫无遗憾地享受生活吧。
最重要的是，如果你爱一人，就告诉他，因为你不知道明天会怎么样。
在你生命中的每一天学习新的课程。
这就是生命的故事。
