PSV Eindhoven, a leading Dutch soccer club, hopes to import Wang Dalei, China's national team goalie, after successfully borrowing China's top left wing defender1 Sun Xiang.
Shanghai Shenhua, Wang's owner -- the city's only football club in the country's top division2, said Eindhoven has contacted them about the goalie. PSV invited Wang to train on trial in Netherlands last year. But United FC, Wang's former club, refused Dutchmen's invitation. Zhu Jun, Shenhua's new boss, who refused PSV when he governed United, said he will let Wang go if PSV's offer is suitable. Zhu spent 150 million yuan (US$19.35 million) on the merger3 of United and Shenhua early this year. Zhang Chen is now in Shenhua's starting line-up as goalie. It seems that the team manager won't move him from the position, according to Eastday.com. PSV imported Sun on loan4 from Shenhua in January. The 25-year-old left back became the first Chinese player to appear in an European Champions League match when he came on for Manuel Da Costa in the first leg of the league's second round at Eindhoven. 点击收听单词发音
