M: Do you know the National Museum of Modern Chinese Literature is already open to the public in Beijing?

M: 你知道中国现代文学馆在北京对外开放吗？

X: Of course. Building the museum is in the hope that foreign visitors could understand our people, our culture more during the 2008 Olympics.

X: 当然知道。修建这个文学馆就是希望外国参观者在2008年奥运会期间能更多了解我们的人民和文化。

M: Great! I can read some works¹ of modern authors like Lu Xun, Lao She, Ba Jin and Bing Xin etc, right?

M: 棒极了！我能看到鲁迅、老舍、巴金和冰心等现代作家的一些作品，对吗？

X: Yes. It seems that you appreciate our traditional culture as a foreign student.

X: 是的，做为一个外国学生，你似乎很喜欢我们的传统文化。

M: I enjoy it very much! My farther² told me Chinese traditional culture is the most excellent and richest one in the whole world.

M: 我非常喜欢！我父亲告诉我，中国的传统文化是世界上最优秀、最博大的文化。

X: I'm happy to hear that. I hope the 2008 Olympics will make Chinese culture open, prosperous³!

X: 听到你这样说我非常高兴！我非常希望2008年奥运会能使中国的文化更开放、繁荣。

M: You must make your dream come true in 2008, I believe.

M: 我相信，到2008年你们一定会把它变成现实。

X: I hope so. Thank you!
