11月21日，乌克兰总统选举展开第二轮投票，现任总理亚努科维奇和“我们的乌克兰”政党联盟领导人尤先科的“命运”交到了选民手中，约有4000名外国观察员对第二轮投票进行了监督。乌克兰选举委员会22日宣布，乌克兰总统选举计票已达98.24%，亚努科维奇获得49.58%的选票，领先反对派候选人尤先科3个百分点。
