At the wood's boldness by thee blushing stand!
To be so tickled³, they would change their state
And situation with those dancing chips,
O'er whom thy fingers walk with gentle gait,
Making dead wood more blest than living lips.
  Since saucy⁴ jacks so happy are in this,
  Give them thy fingers, me thy lips to kiss.

音乐，我眼看那些幸福的琴键
跟着你那轻盈的手指的挑逗，
发出悦耳的旋律，使我魂倒神颠--
我多么艳羡那些琴键轻快地
跳起来狂吻你那温柔的掌心，
而我可怜的嘴唇，本该有这权利，
只能红着脸对琴键的放肆出神！
经不起这引逗，我嘴唇巴不得
做那些舞蹈着的得意小木片，
