Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Yang on Friday called on all sides to speed up the Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific (FTAAP) construction to further facilitate trade and investment in the region.

 

国务院副总理汪洋7日希望各方加快亚太自贸区建设进程，大幅提高区域内贸易投资自由化便利化水平。

 

文中的Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific (FTAAP)就是指“亚太自贸区”。国务院副总理汪洋出席Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Advisory¹ Council（亚太经合组织工商咨询理事会）晚宴时致辞指出，中国是亚太大家庭的一员，中国的发展离不开亚太。

 

汪洋指出，希望各方meet the expectation of the business circle（顺应工商界的期待），speed up the construction of the FTAAP（加快亚太自贸区建设进程），大幅提高the level of trade and investment liberalization in this region（区域内贸易投资自由化便利化水平）；推动高效顺畅的the regional value chain cooperation（价值链合作），打通本地区the obstacles in the regional supply chain（供应链联接的阻塞点），促进产业融合发展，提升区域经济整体竞争力。
