Committee to outline the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020) for national development on Monday. Under the leadership of the CPC, Chinese people have laid a firm foundation to accomplish the first Centenary Goal of comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society by 2020.

10月26日，中国共产党将召开十八届五中全会，制定国民经济发展的十三五规划。在中国共产党的领导下，中国人民已为实现第一个“百年目标”，到2020年全面实现小康社会，奠定了坚实的基础。

 

“百年目标”用Centenary Goal 表示，是党的十八大提出的一项奋斗目标。第一个百年目标（the first Centenary Goal）指到中国共产党成立一百年时，全面建成小康社会（build a moderately prosperous society），第二个百年目标（the second Centenary Goal）是指到新中国成立100年时（2049年）建成富强、民主、文明、和谐的社会主义现代化国家（build a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced and harmonious）。
