1、按英美的习俗,送礼不但可以表示感激之情,也常用来作为联络感情的一种方法。无论是父子、夫妻、朋友、情侣,彼此都可以借互赠礼物来增进感情,且并不拘泥于任何形式。不少人甚至动手做上一份小小的礼物送给朋友或亲人。
2、接受礼物时,除了向对方道谢外,外国人,尤其是英美人士还习惯当场拆开礼物,并且礼貌地问一句May I open it?礼物拆开后,再大大赞扬一番。
