Life radius¹ is the distance from home or work within which a person performs most of their day-to-day activities; the distance within which a person lives all or most of their life.

 

Life radius指从家到单位的距离，一个人大部分的日常活动都在这个距离范围内进行；也可以指一个人全部或大部分生活所在的距离范围，即“生活半径”。

 

For example:

 

Now snow just means putting away my cute shoes, getting up extra early, and a decreased life radius; I basically never leave my county.

现在，下雪就意味着我要把我可爱的鞋子收起来，要更早起床，生活半径也要缩小。我基本上不怎么离开我所在的县。
