"Till the End of the World" sees Mark Chao reuniting with Yang Zishan who played his love interest in the 2013 film "So Young."

 

Discussing the 28-day shoot in difficult weather conditions, writer/director Wu Youyin says one of the biggest challenges was they often only having one chance to shoot a scene, given the conditions.

 

The film, adapted from Wu's novel of the same name, focuses on the love affair formed between a businessman and a scientist who find themselves trapped for 75 days during a snow storm.

 

Mark Chao rose to fame in China for his moving portrayal² of Yehua in "Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms," which is one of the highest-rated TV dramas in China in recent years.
