"No. 70," a documentary jointly¹ produced by China Radio International and Radio Television of Serbia, premiered in Serbia on the evening of May 13.

The documentary is directed by veteran Chinese filmmaker Wang Zhi.

 

The inspiration of the documentary's title comes from the Chinatown named "No. 70" in Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia.

 

Capturing the life experiences of overseas Chinese in Serbia, the documentary vividly² recorded the stories that took place in "No. 70" Chinatown.

 

Officials from the Chinese embassy in Serbia and many Serbian audience members have praised the film after its premiere.

 

The documentary has also generated much media attention locally in Serbia, as it has been praised for telling the stories of overseas Chinese living in Serbia and their role in the development of Serbia.
