China National Nuclear Corporation announced on its website that it has reached an agreement with the Tianjin municipal government to jointly¹ set up a nuclear industry university.

 

中国核工业集团在官网上宣布与天津市政府达成协议，双方将联合创办一所核工业大学。

 

It will be China's first higher education institute dedicated² to nuclear technologies. 

 

The two sides will work together on cancer treatment, research, and development using nuclear energy and technologies. 

 

China National Nuclear Corporation will also invest in a new industrial base to develop new industries which will elevate Tianjin's industrial restructuring. 

 

No specific time frame for carrying out the plan has been given.
