The French postal¹ administration has issued two stamps featuring pigs on Sunday to help mark the forthcoming "Year of the Pig," according to the Xinhua news agency.

 

法国邮政总局周日发行两张邮票纪念即将到来的中国新年。

 

The two stamps, one with a face value of 0.88 euros and the other 1.3 euros, have been released in 600,000 separate sheets.

 

"The stamps for the 'Year of the Pig' show the bond between China and France," said Zhai Jun, China's Ambassador to France. "The stamps convey the deep feelings between the people from both countries," said Zhai.

 

The stamp designer, Chen Jianghong, is French-Chinese painter.

 

The stamps are now available for purchase at French post offices, as well as on the French Postal Service's official website.
