Statistics show that cultural industry has brought in a revenue of some 36 billion yuan for Changsha, which accounts for 10% of Changsha’s GDP. Changshese spends 70% of their income spending in the cultural market, like bars, theaters and dancing clubs.

 

In Changsha, entertainment, cartoon making industry and tourism have developed fast in recent years. The cultural market has developed even faster than Ningbo, Chengdu, Nanjing and Zhengzhou. A television channel launched by Changsha Broadcasting Corporation has been covered some regions in U.S.
