A ticket for a show in the theater costs 100-220 yuan on average, which is not cheap for most ordinary citizens in Changsha, but the theater has witnessed a full house for five secutive nights.
In Changsha, Tianhan Theater is not the only one gain profits. The Cartoon series “Blue Cat” become China’s first famous cartoon brand, which was created by a cartoon making company in Changsha. Products related to the cartoon series have earned the company 2 billion yuan. Changshese spends 70% of their income spending in the cultural market, like bars, theaters and dancing clubs. In Changsha, entertainment, cartoon making industry and tourism have developed fast in recent years. The cultural market has developed even faster than Ningbo, Chengdu, Nanjing and Zhengzhou. A television channel launched by Changsha Broadcasting Corporation has been covered some regions in U.S.
