Chinanews, Tianjin, May 12 – The Ministry1 of Education recently approved the establishment of China’s first aviation engineers college. The college will be jointly2 run by Civil Aviation University of China (CAUC) and Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile (ENAC).
The Sino-European Aviation Engineers College—for this will be its name—will also invite professors from ENAC and other aviation colleges in France. All the students can receive CAUC certificates and French engineers diplomas upon completion of their studies. China's civil aviation industry has developed fast in recent years, and the number of cargo3 planes will amount to 1,550 in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has developed a new aviation system, which will require more aviation experts. It is reported that establishment of the college is supported by Chinese and French governments. The college will mainly teach students advanced aviation technologies, including plane structure and digital control system. It will enroll4 100 students this year.
