Chinanews, Lanzhou, June 18 - Bai Zhijia, a stabbing weapon collector in Tianshui, Gansu Province, has had 4 huge weapons of boradsword, spear, double swords and halberd, forged to commemorate1 Fuxi, a legendary2 Chinese emperor. The four weapons were completed on June 12, and will be put on display for the first time today.
The public will be able to see them at the Tianshui Kungfu Conference and the First Kungfu Conference for Chinese Farmers.
All four of them are made of steel. Their total weight is 560 kg, perhaps the heaviest weapons ever made.
Bai has referred to the Book of Changes to confirm the size of the weapons: the broadsword is 6.4 m long and 208 kg heavy, the spear 6.4 m long and 136 kg heavy, the halberd 6.4 m long and 172 kg heavy, the double swords 2.8 m long and 44 kg heavy.
