The world's tallest and shortest living men have met for the first time in London to mark the 60th anniversary of the publishing of the first Guinness Book of World Records.

The worlds tallest man Sultan Kosen meets with the shortest man ever, Chandra Bahadur Dangi for the very first time on November 13, 2014 in London, England. Sultan Kosen from Turkey currently holds the record as the world's tallest living man at 8-feet-3-inches tall or 2.51 meters.
"The five years have been significantly different for me in my life. Prior to becoming the record holder1 I was locked away in my room, people used to tease me, make fun of me, but since becoming the record holder my life has changed significantly and I have learnt to accept myself and having learnt to accept myself, people accept me too."
Also taking part in the event was Chandra Bahadur Dangi of Nepal, measured at 21.5 inches or 54.6 centimetres.
He is the currently the shortest adult ever to have been verified by Guinness.
"I am so pleased because of this. I got the opportunity to visit many places around the world and meet many people. It has opened many doors to see and meet many people and the love they give back to me is very important to me."
The first Guinness World Records Day was held in London in 2004 to celebrate the Guinness Book of World Records becoming the world's best-selling copyright book.
