Chinanews. Shanghai, September 14 – Three fluorescent1 blue goals, gifts from Hamburg to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the friendship between Hamburg and Shanghai, have been set up in Waitan, adding some new charms to the night of the city, together with Jin Mao Tower and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
These 7-m-wide and 9-m-tall goals were originally used to attract soccer fans and tourists. During 2006 FIFA Germany World Cup, more than 100 blue goals were placed in Hamburg. They did not only light the city up, but also made it an unforgettable artwork.
