| Chinanews, Changchun, Oct. 10 – South American red spiders and Myanmar boas make common people scared, but in Changchun, some fashionable girls treat them as their pets.
Ms. Xia has a tight work schedule everyday, and she likes raising unique pets in her spare time. Apart from her beloved Pekingese dog, she enjoys playing with two huge Myanmar boas. These snakes are imported from abroad. Their colorful tails look horrible, but she holds them in her hands and let them entwine around her arm. "I feel relaxed when their skin cools my body," she said.
Not only the boas, South American red spiders the size of half a palm that usually weave red cobwebs also attract young people.
