Chinanews, Shanghai, Nov. 29 – According to Oriental Morning News, a latest survey launched by the Nutrition Department of Shanghai Jiaotong University's Medical School shows that 8 percent of elementary and secondary students seldom eat breakfast.

Students usually get up early these days, but their parents usually have no time to prepare breakfast for them because of their busy work schedule.

Related statistics show that students without taking regular breakfast are more likely to become overweight. The obesity1 rate of those students reaches 24.3 percent, while that of the students taking breakfast regularly every week is only 10.8 percent.
