China's national football team will be up against Syria in a World Cup qualifier.

China will play the match without veteran Zheng Zhi, who was injured during a match against the Philippines last week.

 

China has to win this match to keep its hope of automatic qualification alive.

 

Defender¹ Feng Xiaoting says they will try all that they can to get a victory.

 

"We have to win all of the next three matches. We haven't been so united going into the match against Syria. It's a must-win match for us. We will fight for ourselves and we will win it the same way they won against us in China," says Feng.

 

China currently ranks second-from-the-bottom in Group A with five points.
