Nicholas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande are set for their final day of campaigning before Sunday's presidential run-off vote in France. 尼古拉·萨科奇与弗朗索瓦·奥朗德将要在周日总统竞选决定性选举前进行最后一天的宣传活动。 The most recent polls show Mr Hollande leading by about 6%. President Sarkozy has been slowly gaining on his rival in recent days, and said on Thursday that a French election had never been so "undecided". But analysts1 say he would need to have a major reversal(逆转) in fortunes to win another term. On Friday, the Socialist2 candidate Mr Hollande will travel to Moselle for a campaign speech, followed by a visit to Perigueux in the Dordogne region for his final rally. Nicholas Sarkozy is set to give a speech at Sables3 d'Olonne in western France. Campaigning officially finishes at 23:00 local time. 'Beaten long ago' On Thursday, Mr Hollande got a boost when centrist leader Francois Bayrou said he would be backing the Socialist candidate. Mr Bayrou came fifth in the first round of voting, taking 9.1% of the vote. If his supporters join him in voting for Mr Hollande, it would deal a significant blow to Mr Sarkozy's chances for re-election. Although Mr Bayrou once served with the president in a right-wing cabinet, he says Mr Sarkozy has gone too far to the right. He said he was "not making any voting recommendation", but accused Mr Sarkozy of abandoning European values and moving too close to the far-right position on immigration. 点击收听单词发音
