Everybody quickly introduced themselves, but Dory wanted to stay on task. "We gotta go," she said. "We have to stop that truck!"

When everyone floated up to the surface, they saw that the truck was gone!

Dory gasped. "Bailey! Status report!" she shouted.

"Oh, yes — my beautiful gift!" Bailey snapped into action with his echolocation. "Ooooo...  I've got it!" he said. He could see the truck!

"Let's go!" said Dory, grabbing Destiny's fin. "We're stopping that truck!" The group took off together and swam past Fluke and Rudder, who were lounging on their rock.

"This I've got to see," said Fluke. Rudder agreed, and the two curious sea lions jumped into the water to follow. They didn't get very far before they sensed someone behind them. When they turned around, they saw Gerald — perched on top of their rock and grinning from ear to ear! Fluke and Rudder paused as they considered turning back to scare him off, but they didn't want to miss seeing what was going to happen with Dory and the truck.

"Don't get used to it, Gerald!" shouted Rudder as the two continued on. Gerald laughed wildly and settled onto the beautiful, warm rock.

As the group raced along the coastline, Dory asked Bailey to give her an update. She had already forgotten everything!

Bailey caught her up and then announced that he could see Marlin and Nemo inside the truck ... and it was headed toward the bridge. But he was quickly distracted. "Oh, look! There's a bunch of cute otters over there. I want one!" he added, gazing at the adorable sight. The distraction caused Bailey to slam into the side of the bridge, with Destiny crashing right behind him!

Everyone rose to the surface to have a look around.

"I see the truck!" shouted Charlie. "It's over there!"

The truck was quickly making its way toward the bridge. Dory thought about what to do next.

She patted her fins against her head as she chanted, "What would Dory do?" over and over.

"If only there was a way to stop traffic!" said Bailey with a sigh.

"Stop traffic?" repeated Dory. That sparked something in her mind, and she chattered as an idea began to form. "Everyone needs to stop ... people stop to look at things ... things they like ... things that are cute ...things that are cute!"

Dory turned to the group of sea otters and darted toward them. She told Destiny her plan. "When the truck reaches the bridge, you flip me up there."

"Got it!" said Destiny.

"You guys follow me," Dory said to the otters. They chirped in agreement. "Everyone else, stay here."

"Whoa," said Jenny, stopping Dory. She and Charlie didn't like the idea at all. They didn't want to let Dory out of their sight. "Dory, sweetie, what happens if ... I mean, what could happen if ..." Jenny's voice trembled with worry.

"I lose you again?" asked Dory.

Jenny was ashamed to admit it, but that was her fear.

"Mom. Dad," said Dory, facing them with confidence. "It's gonna be okay. Because I know that even if I forget ... I can find you again."

Jenny and Charlie smiled. They were so proud of their daughter. They knew Dory was right, and they would always stand behind her, no matter what.

With no time to waste, Destiny hoisted Dory up onto her tail while Bailey told Destiny which way to aim. "Ooooo — Okay, a little left ... OOoooo — Okay, that's it ... Go! Don't do it!"

"Bailey!" said Destiny, anxious.

"Okay, NOW! NOW! DO IT! DO IT!"

Destiny swam over to Dory. "Time for your idea," she said.

"Okay, what idea?" asked Dory. Instantly, Destiny flipped Dory high into the air and flung her across the ocean. With Dory soaring above, the otters followed in the water below. They scrambled up onto the bridge, and when Dory finally landed, one of them caught her in its paws! They were now lined up across the highway.

Dory looked at all the cars on the bridge, and her mind raced. "Cars, cars, cars. I see cars. Otters in front of the cars ... cars have to stop —" Then she remembered her plan. "STOP TRAFFIC! CUDDLE PARTY!"

Dory hugged the otter that was holding her, and with that, all the otters began to hug each other. The extreme cuteness caused every single car to stop! All the drivers and passengers stared and snapped photos as the otters had an absolutely adorable cuddle party!

SCREEEECH! The truck lurched to a halt as it approached the traffic jam. Inside the truck, Nemo asked Marlin what was going on, and Marlin drew in a deep breath. "I don't know how, I don't know in what way — but I think this has something to do with —"

The truck's back door burst open and an otter scurried in, carrying Dory.

"DORY!" said Nemo.

"Water ... water ..." gasped Dory straining for breath.

Hank reached down, grabbed her, and plunged her into the tank with Marlin and Nemo.

"You came back!" Nemo continued.

"Of course," said Dory. "I couldn't leave my family."

Overjoyed, Nemo hugged Dory with all his might.

Suddenly, the driver appeared at the open door, shooing the otters out of the truck and off the bridge. "Oh, no," Dory said ominously as she watched the otters return to the ocean. "There goes our ride."

From below, Destiny called to Dory in whale. "The traffic is starting to mooOOoove!"

"Leave it to me," said Marlin. "I got this!" He cleared his throat and began to call to Becky. "Loo-loo! Loo-loo! Ooo-roo!"

Becky squawked and appeared, holding the pail in her beak.

"Dory, follow me!" said Marlin. He and Nemo hopped into the pail, but Becky took off before Dory was able to get in! Marlin tried to get Becky to turn around, but she continued on her mission. She dropped them into the ocean and flew off, joining her flock.

When Marlin and Nemo splashed into the water, they found themselves face to face with Destiny. "AHHH! PLEASE DON'T EAT US!" begged Marlin.

"Where's Dory?" asked Destiny.

Then everyone realized ... "You're her family," they said in unison.

"She's still in the truck!" Marlin announced.

With no time to waste, Marlin managed to get Becky's attention and told her to go back for Dory. When she arrived at the truck, Hank and Dory were talking.

"Okay, kid," said Hank. "I guess this is goodbye."

He reached one of tentacles into her tank, in an effort to put her into Becky's pail.

"No!" she shouted, slapping his arm.

"What do you mean, no?"

"I mean, you're not going to the Cleveland. You're coming to the ocean with me," Dory insisted.

"What is it with you and ruining my plans?" said Hank. "Listen to me, I have one goal in life, one! And it is to —"

"No, you listen to me!" Dory said firmly. Hank looked at her, stunned by her confidence. "What is so great about plans? I've never had a plan. Did I plan to lose my parents? No. Did I plan to find Marlin? No. Did you and I plan to meet? Wait — did we?"

"Are you almost done?" asked Hank.

"Well, I don't think we did, and that's because the best things happen by chance, because that's life. And that's you being with me — out in the ocean, not safe in some stupid glass box."

"Can I say something?" asked Hank.

"I'm not done! A friend of mine, her name's Sigourney, once told me that all it takes is three simple steps — rescue, rehabilitation, and, um, one other thing that ..."

All the fish in the truck chanted, "RELEASE! RELEASE! RELEASE!"

"That's right! So what do you say?"

Even Becky joined in the chant, squawking along with everyone!

"I was going to say okay," said Hank.

But suddenly the staffer appeared and slammed the door shut, leaving them trapped inside the truck.

"Not good," said Dory.

 

大家迅速地自我介绍起来，可多莉却想着要继续她的任务。“我们得走了，”她说，“我们必须去阻止那辆货车！”

等大家浮到水面时，却发现那辆货车已经开走了！

多莉倒吸了一口气。“贝利！汇报目前的情况！”她喊道。

“啊，好的——我美妙的天赋！”贝利立即开启了他的回声定位。“喔哦哦……我找到了！”他说。他看见了那辆货车！

“我们走！”多莉抓住运儿的鱼鳍说道，“我们去阻止那辆货车！”大家一起出发，游过了正在岩石上懒洋洋地躺卧着的弗卢克和鲁德尔。

“这个我得去看看。”弗卢克说。鲁德尔也很赞同，于是这两头好奇的海狮跳入水中跟了上去。没游一会儿，他们就感到有人跟在身后。他们转过身，看见了杰拉尔德——高高地立在了他们的岩石上，笑得嘴都合不拢！弗卢克和鲁德尔停了下来，想要转身回去把他吓走，可他们不愿错过即将开演的多莉与货车的好戏。

“别习惯成自然了，杰拉尔德！”他们俩继续游时鲁德尔喊道。杰拉尔德大笑起来，卧躺在了美丽温暖的岩石上。

在大家沿着海岸线乘风破浪时，多莉让贝利告知她最新情况。她已经将所有事情忘得一干二净！

贝利简单地讲叙述了一下，然后报告说他看到马林和尼莫就在货车里面……而那辆车正朝着大桥驶去。然而他很快就分了神。“噢，瞧！那里有一群可爱的海獭。我真想要一只！”他望着那一派讨人喜欢的景象，补充说道。因为分神，贝利砰的一声撞上了大桥的一侧，运儿也随之撞了上去！

大伙儿浮出水面，环视了一下周围。

“我看见那辆货车了！”查理道，“就在那里！”

那辆货车正飞速地朝大桥驶去。多莉思索着下一步该怎 么做。

她一边用鱼鳍拍打着脑袋一边反反复复地嘀咕道：“多莉会怎么做？”

“要是有拦住交通的办法就好了！”贝利叹气道。

“拦住交通？”多莉重复道。她突然受到了启发，喋喋不休中想到了一个办法。“大家都得停住……人们得停下来看什么东西……他们喜欢的东西……可爱的东西……可爱的东西！”

多莉转身朝着那群海獭飞速地游了过去。她将计划告诉了运儿：“等货车到了大桥，你就把我抛过去。”

“明白！”运儿说。

“大伙儿跟我来。”多莉对着海獭们说。他们叽叽喳喳地同意了。“其他各位，请待在这里。”

“喂，”珍妮阻止多莉道。她和查理一点儿都不喜欢这个主意。他们不想再让多莉离开他们的视线。“多莉，宝贝儿，要是……我的意思是，万一……”珍妮的声音因为焦急而颤抖。

“万一我又和你们失散了？”多莉问。

珍妮羞愧地承认了，不过那正是她所担忧的事情。

“妈妈，爸爸，”多莉自信地面对着他们说道，“不会有事的。因为我知道就算忘记了……我还是会找到你们的。”

珍妮和查理微笑起来。他们为自己的女儿感到特别自豪。他们知道多莉说得没错，而且无论怎样，他们永远都会支持她。

时间紧迫，运儿将多莉抬起放在了尾巴上，贝利则告诉运儿瞄准的方向。“喔哦哦——好的，往左偏一点……喔哦哦——好的，就是这样……发射！别动！”

“贝利！”运儿焦虑地说道。

“好了，就是现在！就是现在！快发射！快发射！”

运儿转身游向多莉。“该实施你的计划了。”她说。

“好的，什么计划？”多莉问。一瞬间，运儿将多莉高高地抛到空中，扔到了大海的另一边。多莉在高空中飞跃，海獭们则在水里紧跟着。他们爬到了大桥上，就在多莉终于要着陆之时，一只海獭用爪子接住了她！现在他们在公路上排成了一列。

多莉望着大桥上所有的车子，脑子不停地转动着。“车，车，车。我看到了车。海獭们在车前……车都停了下来——”然后她想起了她的计划。“拦住交通！拥抱派对！”

多莉拥抱住捧着她的那只海獭，这一来，所有的海獭全都开始相互拥抱。这超级可爱的画面令每一辆车都停了下来！所有的司机和乘客都驻足观看，纷纷拍照，要知道这群海獭们可正在进行着一场可爱到绝无仅有的拥抱派对！

一个急刹车！眼见到了交通拥堵处，那辆货车紧急之下刹住了车。货车里面，尼莫问马林发生了什么，马林深深吸了口气。“我不知道怎么了，我不知道是怎么回事——不过我想这肯定跟——”

货车的后门突然打开了，一只海獭带着多莉急匆匆地跑了进来。

“多莉！”尼莫说。

“水……水……”多莉紧张地大口喘气道。

汉克靠近一把将她抓住，然后放进了马林和尼莫的水箱里。

“你回来了！”尼莫继续说道。

“当然了，”多莉说，“我可不能离开我的家人。”

尼莫欣喜若狂，使尽全身力气拥抱住了多莉。

突然，司机出现在敞开的门口，发出嘘声将海獭们都赶出卡车，赶下大桥。“噢，不，”多莉望着海獭们回到了大海，不祥地说道，“我们的坐骑走了。”

桥下，运儿用鲸鱼对多莉喊道。“车子都开始移……动……了！”

“交给我吧，”马林说，“我有办法！”他清清嗓子，呼唤起了贝琪。“噜——噜！噜——噜！呜——噜！”

贝琪嘎嘎叫着出现了，嘴里还叼着提桶。

“多莉，跟上我！”马林说。他和尼莫跳进了提桶里，可还没等多莉跳进来，贝琪就飞走了！马林拼命地让贝琪掉转头，可她却执意前行。她将他们投进大海，然后飞走，回到了自己的队伍中。

马林和尼莫啪地落入了水中，他们发现自己与运儿面对面碰了个正着。“啊啊！求求你别吃我们！”马林乞求道。

“多莉在哪里？”运儿问。

接着他们意识到了……“你是她的家人。”他们异口同声地说道。

“她还在货车里！”马林通报道。

时间紧迫，马林努力唤回了贝琪，并告诉她得飞回去接多莉。她来到货车之时，汉克和多莉正说着话儿。

“好了，孩子，”汉克说，“我猜该道别了。”

他将一只触角伸到她的水箱，努力地将她放进了贝琪的提桶里。

“不！”她拍打着他的胳膊喊道。

“你说‘不’是什么意思？”

“我的意思是，你不要去克里夫兰了。你跟我一起回到大海里吧。”多莉坚持道。

“这是什么意思，跟着你把我自己的计划破坏掉？”汉克说，“听我说，我一生只有一个目的，一个！那就是——”

“不，你听我说！”多莉坚定地说道。汉克望着她，对她的自信感动震惊。“计划有什么好的？我从来就没计划。我计划与我父母失散吗？没有。我计划要找到马林吗？没有。你我计划要相遇吗？等等——我们有吗？”

“你说完了吗？”汉克问。

“好吧，我想我们没计划过，因为最美好的事情只会意外发生，因为那才是生活。所以说，你跟我——去海洋里，别安全地待在什么愚蠢的玻璃箱里了。”

“我能说几句吗？”汉克问。

“我还没说完！我的一个朋友，她名叫西格妮，曾经跟我说过只需三个简单的步骤就可以做到——救援，治疗，还有，嗯，另一个是……”

货车里所有的鱼儿齐声说道：“放生！放生！放生！”

“没错！所以你觉得怎么样？”

就连贝琪也加入到了唱和中，嘎嘎地跟着大伙叫了起来！

“我本来也会同意的。”汉克说。

然而突然间，工作人员出现了，他猛地将门关上，将他们困在了货车里。

“这可不妙。”多莉说。
