In 1963, Ennis Del Mar¹ (Heath Ledger) and Jack² Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal) show up penniless at a Wyoming ranch³ to look for work. The strangers are quickly assigned to herd⁴ sheep together on Brokeback Mountain.
