But then I thought if I cared about the other 7 million out there instead of just me. That's probably a much better use of my time. See, if I were princess of Genovia, then my thoughts and the thoughts of people smarter than me would be much better heard and just maybe those thoughts could be turned into actions.

So this morning when I woke up I was Mia Thermopolis. But now I choose to be forevermore Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi, princess of Genovia

　1）两个单词intention和claim

　Intention意思是目的意图，比如，我还没有结婚的打算，I have no intention of marrying yet.

　4）这里lame的意思是站不住脚的，没有说服力的，比如没有说服力的借口，a lame excuse. 那么整句话的意思就是：与这另外的7百万人相比，这是多么的站不住脚，缺乏说服力啊。
