Want to film at locations in New York where nobody else gets permission to film? Want to have an Oscar-winning actress be your personal assistant? Want to wear a ton of Tiffany every day? Well, maybe you can’t, but Carrie Bradshaw can.

Spoiler Alert — If you don’t want the latest on the movie, Sex and the City, quit reading right now. But if you don’t give a damn and curiosity wins out over psychic¹ discipline, carry on. You’ve been warned.

Permission to film in places like the New York Public Library, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Vogue² Magazine, was granted for the first time by the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting. Perhaps permission was given because Mayor Bloomberg is in the movie. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Big (Chris Noth) are engaged, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) now lives in an L.A. beach house, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is pregnant by Harry³ (Evan Handler, and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Steve (David Eigenberg) are faced with a problem of infidelity. All this in Sunday’s New York Post exclusive, that is, until FSR got hold of it.

Jennifer Hudson plays Louise, Carrie’s personal assistant, who came to New York on a quest for love. But even Louise cannot keep Carrie from her cynical⁴ attitude about the coming wedding to Big. Her wedding gown is “the perfect thing to be jilted in,” comments Carrie. She hopes her marriage to Big will be different from her past “disastrous marital⁵ attempts.”

Samantha’s new L.A. neighbor is a sexy young stud who steals her attention from Smith (Jason Lewis) whose career isn’t going too well. Samantha tries to resist the neighbor and tells Carrie he’s out there all the time switching sex partners. The tables have been turned on Samantha.

“You can’t bring back ‘I Love Lucy’ because they’re all dead,” says the Post’s source insider, “So it [Sex and the City movie] just became ‘Are we going to do this? If we’re going to do it, let’s just do it.”

According to the Post, the movie has both juicy scenes and a massive budget, which brings smiles to the face of writer/producer/director Michael Patrick King. Big bling, high fashion, great locations, and no shortage of Cosmopolitans⁶.

“电影《我爱露丝》无法重现，因为演员们都已经过世了。”邮报消息来源的知情人士如是说：“因而对《欲望都市》而言，‘我们要干下去么？如果想干，那就继续干。’”

邮报透露，电影版情节丰富，而预算数目也同样庞大，这使得电影编剧兼制片人和导演的迈克尔·帕特里克·金喜笑颜开。该电影版兼备了豪华的饰品，前沿的时尚，绝佳拍摄地，又不乏世界性。
