World No.5 shuttler Chen Hong was blocked by arch rival Indonesia's Hidayat Taufik though, he has still earned as high as US$ 4000 at yesterday's Badminton Asian Championships 2007.

Chen Hong has kept in good in form since quitting the national team over two months ago. Entirely¹ in the disadvantage position during the finals, he has been knocked down by Taufik, with 21-18 and 21-19.

Three-times Asian Champs titles Taufik gives high remarks on his strong rival, "I have heard of that Chen left the national team, but he remains² strong while back to action that constitutes a big threat towards me."
