　　B： I was thinking I might  travel to  Hangzhou. You know， that's a city I have always wanted to see.

　　A： Well， Hangzhou is certainly a great attraction. But， in all honesty， I don't think it's a good idea to travel south in summer. It can be very hot.

　　B： Oh… you are probably right. Where would you suggest？

　　A： What about a visit to Yantai in Shangdong province？ Yantai is a beautiful city by the sea. The beaches are lovely and the weather is really pleasant. I'm sure you will enjoy yourself there.

　　B： But if I spend all the time on the beaches， I may get bored.

　　A： Well， Yes. But there are many other places to visit nearby. For instance， you can  take a boat trip to Changdao  to visit  the island. You can also make a day tour to Penglai where the Eight immortals⁴ were said to have stayed and launched the trip across the sea.

　　B： Oh， how interesting！ I may have a chance to become an immortal myself.

　　A： Yes， if you are lucky enough， you may be able to see a mirage from Penglai Pavilion.

　　B： Sounds fantastic！ Thank you， Miss Wang. Your idea is very good.

　　（Miss  Wang  has arranged for Mr. Simpson's trip. ）

　　A： Mr. Simpson， here is your ticket for Yantai. It is a non-stop train  for  tourists.

　　B： Thank you. Let me have a look… so the train will arrive at Yantai station at 7∶50 tomorrow morning.

　　A： Yes， I've arranged for someone to pick you up， and then he will  get  you  to  the  hotel.

　　B： Fine.

　　A： I've also made a reservation at a travel agency so that you can have a guide during the sightseeing.

　　B：Thank you for all the things that you've done for me. I'll come back in two weeks so the work won't pile up.

　　A： I'll  take care of  the  things here. Don't worry. Hope you can have two weeks of total relaxation.
