On March 29 2006, Chinese Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai attended the working lunch held by Giscard d'Estaing, who is the Former President of France and visited China for participation¹ of the 12th Sino-France Economic Seminar. Mr. Bo Xilai highly appraised² the remarkable³ contribution made by Mr. Estaing on development of Sino-France relations and promotion⁴ of communication and cooperation among Chinese and French enterprises. The two sides exchanged views on Sino-EU and Sino-France trade and economic cooperation, tendency of global economy and development strategy of Chinese economy. Representatives from more than 20 Chinese and French enterprises took part in the Meeting.
