JeSuisCharlie is the French phrase of "I am Charlie (Hebdo)". It is a hashtag, an expression of support for freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom from terror, particularly as a reaction to the January 7, 2015 terrorist attack on the French publisher Charlie Hebdo, most notably¹ the "JeSuisCharlie" button Amal Clooney pinned to her satin Dior clutch on her first Golden Globes red carpet.
