报道中的“human trafficking”指的就是“拐卖人口”，也可写作“people trafficking”或者“trafficking of human beings”。

“Trafficking”另一相应的名词形式“trafficker”指“干非法勾当者”，相应的，“human trafficker”指的则是“人贩子”。

此外，需提醒大家“human smuggling”与“human trafficking”不同，前者指“从事人口走私”，即我们常说的“从事偷渡活动”。
