World famous Spanish tenor¹ Jose Carreras, one of the "Three Tenors²", is expected to join the closing ceremony of the Special Olympics scheduled on October 11, according to general-director Teng Junjie.

The closing ceremony is to be held at the Jiangwan Stadium in Shanghai, and all of the 10,000 athletes and coaches, as well as their families are expected to participate in the ceremony.

报道中说，记者从2007特奥会闭幕式总导演滕俊杰处获悉，世界著名西班牙男高音歌唱家，世界三大男高音歌唱家之一的何塞•卡雷拉斯将参加10月11日晚在上海江湾体育场举行的特奥会闭幕式大型晚会。届时，参加本届特奥会的1万多名运动员、教练员及家人并不会随着比赛结束而马上离开，他们也将全部出席闭幕式。

这里，“tenor”即为“男高音”；“世界三大男高音”表达为“Three Tenors”，分别指意大利的普拉西多•多明戈、卢恰诺•帕瓦罗蒂和西班牙的何塞•卡雷拉斯。
